Andrew Wafula Nyongesa is a Lecturer in the Department of Humanities at Murang’a University of Technology, Kenya, with a strong scholarly background in literary studies, particularly prose fiction, literary theory, and criticism. He holds a PhD in Literature from Kenyatta University, where his research focused on otherness, pathology, and representations of the fragmented self in contemporary African fiction. Dr. Nyongesa has published extensively in reputable international journals and academic presses, including Routledge, Brill, Taylor & Francis, and Springer, and is the author and editor of numerous scholarly books, creative fiction works, and literary anthologies. His research interests span postcolonial literatures, migration studies, eco-criticism, stream-of-consciousness writing, and the intersections of literature, society, and emerging global realities, including digital and pandemic-era cultures. Through his teaching, research, supervision, and editorial work, he has made substantial contributions to contemporary African literary scholarship and creative writing.
